Midwest Conference Releases Academic All-Conference Honorees
GRINNELL, Iowa- The Midwest Conference (MWC) has released this year's MWC Academic All-Conference honorees for the 2022-23 school year.
A total of 1,544 student-athletes represented the nine Midwest Conference member institutions. To be recognized as Academic All-Conference, a student-athlete must have satisfied a minimum GPA of 3.33 for the awarded academic year, participate in a varsity contest, and compete on a team that completed a minimum 50% of its scheduled contests.
Illinois College ranked second in all member institutions with 171 student-athletes being recognized. Football led the way with 40 honorees this season followed by men's soccer with 20 and softball with 17.
