Doss Named Midwest Conference Track Performer of the Week

GRINNELL, Iowa – Illinois College's Dylan Doss was named the Midwest Conference Track Performer of the Week, it was announced by the league today.

This is the second time this year Doss has earned the honor and the first time during the outdoor portion of the schedule.

A freshman from Sterling, Ill., Doss was a double winner at the Rose-Hulman Twilight on Friday in Terre Haute, Ind. Along with winning the long jump, Doss took the title in the 200 meters finishing in 21.51 seconds which is the best time in the Midwest Conference this season and is tied for 26th-best in the country. The mark also ranks third all-time in Illinois College history. 

Doss and his teammates will be running the 4x100 meter relay at the prestigious Drake Relays on Friday in Des Moines, Iowa.
