Blueboys Named to 2023 NCAA Division III Men’s Cross Country All-Acadmic Team
NEW ORLEANS – Illinois College was one of the Men's All-Academic Teams for the 2023 NCAA Division III Cross Country season that were announced on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The 2023 Blueboys compiled a team cumulative GPA of 3.46 during the fall semester.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.

The women's team competed in a 5k race while the men's team participated in the 8k race. Both teams each earned fifth-place finishes out of the field of 10 teams.

The Blueboys captured a first-place finish in the 8k race while the women's team earned a third-place team finish in the 6k race.
- IC Cross Country Competes at Les Duke InviteGRINNELL, Iowa, - The Illinois College men's and women's cross country teams traveled to compete at the Les Duke Invite hosted by Grinnell College Saturday morning. The men's team completed in a the 8k race and earned a sixth-place finish out of nine teams. The women's team completed in the 6k run and finished without a team score.
- IC XC Has Record-Breaking Day at H.W. Wright Classic Hosted by MillikinJACKSONVILLE, Ill. - The Illinois College men's and women's cross country teams traveled to Millikin University and competed in the H.W. Wright Classic Saturday evening.
